Self Series: Discovering Your Self With Art and Meditation
Tuesday February 25 4:30-6:15pm
Miss Gina will be working with the children with the meditation. We will begin with some gentle stretching and relaxation breathing to connect our bodies and minds followed by a guided meditation that will take us on a journey to help discover more about ourselves.
We will then create a mixed media collage using prompts that Miss Pam will give out to help us step by step. The first step is to write a special affirming message to ourselves on the canvas, followed by painting, tissue paper, stencils, chalks and more.
A beautiful way for children to connect with themselves.
