MONDAY OR WEDNESDAY CLASS
Kids will dive into a world of creativity, exploring all kinds of art-making techniques as they create their very own masterpieces. From painting and drawing to sculpting and beyond, every class is packed with hands-on fun and plenty of opportunities to let their imagination shine!
$170 for 6 weeks

In this 6 week class, students will learn more specific skills in drawing such as shading, sketching and perspective but in a fun way. We will then use those techniques as well as learn painting techniques to explore with acrylics and watercolors.

In this 6 week session, we will enjoy creating projects using paper mache, plaster , air dry clay, polymer clay and more.

In this class, students will have the opportunity to create a variety of different art projects. We will do a bit of everything — draw, paint, craft, sculpt and build!
This class is for the older kids who love art and just want to spend a little extra time creating masterpieces in a fun, relaxing and judgement free environment.

Johnny will encourage students to create their own characters or (use characters they like to draw) in a comic strip.
Students will be guided to draw their comic strip placing their character(s) into 2-4 panels.
Students will create their own story.
Students will use speech bubbles, captions, & backgrounds to enhance the comic strip.
Students will be able to ink their story with a black marker.
Coloring their story will be encouraged!
students will have a collected folder of all their work to show parents.

Join Johnny as he encourages students to take their artistic talents to the next level.
Each student will be given an ongoing cartoon strip assignment.
Students may create their own characters or use established characters to use in comic book strips.
Each week these drawings will be collected and put into the students own folder.
These collected group of pages will form a comic book.
The story may be dynamic, dramatic, sad, happy, etc.
Johnny will remind students of the comic strip technique.
(Expressions, body posture dynamics, panel design, speech bubbles, captions, & backgrounds)
Students will be able to ink their story with a black marker.
Coloring their story will be encouraged!
MINI MONET CLASS POLICIES
Mini Monet does not issue refunds for any of our classes. Please check your schedule BEFORE registering. Once you are signed up you may not cancel or you forfeit the fee. Students are allowed ONE missed class due to illness or emergency only (vacations or other activities do not count) Students may attend a different day of class they are registered for (must notify the studio ahead of time). If we do not offer a similar class during the week, we will offer a make-up day at the end of the session. We must be notified PRIOR to missing class with either a phone call or email. Without notification, no make up will be issued. If you do not contact us within a week of missing class then a makeup will not be issued. All make-ups or class switches must be made within the session-no credits will be applied to future sessions.
Students in our toddler classes may switch to the alternating day of class in the event of illness to make up a class-we must be notified prior to class. We do not credit a missed class for future sessions.
***Please note that we need at least 5 students for a class to run, classes may be cancelled in the event of no sign-ups
